Monique daSilva Global Healthcare Director

An 18-year veteran of public relations and marketing, Monique da Silva works with each of MS&L’s offices across North America to provide senior level counsel to the agency’s healthcare clients, migrate business across the MS&L network, and develop new business opportunities. She is also the global account director for Philips Medical Systems.

Throughout her career, da Silva has worked extensively in the healthcare arena, including invasive and non-invasive medical technologies, cardiovascular care, dermatology, antibiotics, neurology, women's health, infectious diseases and antivirals. Current and past clients include Biogen Idec, Columbia Laboratories, Children’s Hospital Boston, Manhattan Eye and Ear Hospital, Smith & Nephew, Genzyme, Millennium, Pfizer, Eli Lilly, Novo Nordisk, Serono, Roche, Allergan, Sandoz, and Philips. She has worked with non-profit groups such as the Foundation for Informed Medical Decision Making, Mass Legal Assistance Council, Mass Medical Society and the Lyme Disease Foundation, to name a few.

da silva has helped some of New England’s leading brands build and protect their reputations in key areas through aggressive internal and external stakeholder outreach and media relations. She has experience working with a wide range of advocacy groups in the area of women’s health and medical technology. Her work in these areas has been recognized by PR industry organizations as best-in-class, winning more than 22 PR industry awards.

She is a member of The Boston Club, MassMEDIC, the Paul Revere PR Dinner Group and Boston’s Women Business Communicators. She has a bachelor of arts degree from Bowdoin College.
