Mariana Jasper Partner and Directory, Muchnik, Alurralde, Jasper & Assoc/MS&L

With more than 13 years of experience, Mariana Jasper is a Partner and Director at Muchnik, Alurralde, Jasper & Assoc/MS&L. She leads the technology practice and the strategic direction for multinational companies, including BASF, Microsoft, Shindy, Group Alternative, Intel, Goose (private Mail), PeopleSoft, Telephone 2, Tradecom, and Symantec.

Jasper previously consulted on public affairs and social responsibility issues for public and private organizations, including the Secretary of Science, Technology and Productive Innovation of Argentina, 3G Americas, Coca Cola Argentina and Alstom.

In 1997 she became a partner of Muchnik, Alurralde, Jasper & Assoc. and later dealt with retail clients such as Cencosud’s Shopping Malls, Groupo Bimbo, Kimberly-Clark, Allied Domecq, Freddo and Aroma. In 1993, she worked as an account assistant in Bonaparte 48, and started developing public relations strategies for Fundación Acindar, Molfino Hermanos, Shell CAPSA and TAG Heuer.

She is a member of IPRA (International Public Relations Association) and received IPRA awards in 2003 and 2004. She was also selected as juror for the Eikon Awards (granted by the Magazine IMAGE in Argentina) in 2005.

In the academic area, Jasper taught at the University of Palermo and between 1995 and 1998 she served as a professor at Buenos Aires Public University. She holds a degree in communication science from the University of Buenos Aires, specializing in public opinion and advertising.

She also has a postgraduate degree in management at the University of San Andrés.

Jasper speaks fluent English from when she lived in the United States. She was born in Buenos Aires in 1969.
