Professional Development
We are fiercely committed to professional training and development for our staff at all levels. For junior employees, we offer training sessions as part of the Change Minds Academy, a rigorous, award-winning offering that includes sessions on client service, entertainment marketing, presentations, new media/technology, influencer marketing and many more. This year, we unveiled the Change Minds Graduate program for senior staff, an aggressive new business skills development boot camp designed to teach new business ideas and strategies from some of the best minds in the business. We offer an extensive internship program across all our offices for college students and recent graduates; our internship challenge program has been featured in The New York Times, New York Post and Atlanta Journal-Constitution, and has attracted more than 500 students in the past two years interested in working at MS&L. We also partner with the Hands On Network to expand our employee volunteerism activities and encourage our staff to give back to their communities.
And of course, we give our staff incredible on-the-job training by working with some of the best and most interesting clients in the world on their communications campaigns, including top product launches such as Philips Bodygroom and Allergan’s silicone breast implants, cause-related campaigns for leading companies like Sunkist, corporate and media relations campaigns for companies including Heidrick & Struggles and Royal & Sun Alliance, pro bono work for the Samaritan House and Boys & Girls Club of Boston, and many more.
