Hass MS&L Announces Senior Promotions - Adds to Account Staff

ANN ARBOR, Mich.10/03/2006 — 

Hass MS&L, Michigan's largest public relations agency and part of the Manning Selvage & Lee (MS&L) global network, announced the promotion of David Binkowski to vice president of word of mouth marketing in the Ann Arbor office.  The appointment is effective immediately.

Binkowski leads the product launch team and is a member of the Word of Mouth Marketing Association (WOMMA). He draws upon eight years of entrepreneurial and web experience to create strategic online PR and marketing initiatives. He has been involved from the inception of the company's industry-leading online outreach capabilities. These include the development and cultivation of an online influencer database, blogger media outreach and viral marketing techniques. Before joining Hass MS&L in 2004, Binkowski developed interactive technology at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan and Karmanos Cancer Institute.

Hass MS&L also announced the following promotions and new hire:

  • Kai Blum and Marian Short have been promoted to senior account executive in the agency’s MediaQuotient monitoring and analysis division.  Blum joined Hass MS&L full-time in 2000 and Short in 2002, both as media analysts. 
  • Charlie Kondek has been promoted to senior account executive in online outreach.  Kondek joined Hass MS&L in 2000 as a media analyst and moved to the word of mouth marketing team in 2005.
  •  Ann Stofflet has joined the agency as a Senior Account Executive for web projects. Stofflet is an experienced marketing writer and editor and web site manager, and has an M.B.A. in Marketing, Communications and Media Management with an E-business specialization from Fordham University in New York.
