MS&L Digital
Ann Arbor is the home of MS&L Digital, Manning Selvage & Lee’s interactive communications arm. Our office was founded in 1992 as Hass Associates by Mark Hass and was acquired by MS&L in 2002. We work closely with MS&L Detroit and McGinn MS&L on the agency’s automotive clients and lead digital strategy for a variety of clients throughout the MS&L network.
At MS&L Digital, we design, manage and consult on business blogs and emerging media relations. Our 30 employees are drawn from disciplines ranging from information science to journalism to computer programming. Our MediaQuotient division develops unique brand research by analyzing online news sites, message boards, blogs and social networks. Our BlogWorks blog observes the evolution of social media and other technological approaches to communications from a public relations perspective.
We have received a number of top awards for our work in the interactive space. Our breakthrough General Motors FastLane blog, for example, won the 2006 PRWeek Award for Best Use of the Internet and Best PR Innovation, and was a finalist for the Holmes Report’s Platinum SABRE Award for the year’s top PR program in 2006 and 2007. FastLane has become the communications industry’s best practice for how companies can directly and effectively engage in online conversations with customers and influencers.
