Seoul, Korea
The PR industry in Korea is relatively new, going back only 20 years since the first agencies sprung up in the late 1980s to answer the demands of multinational companies wanting a stage in the untapped market for the ‘88 Seoul Olympics. Since then, the Korea PR scene has been on the fast track to becoming one of Asia’s most evolved, and hundreds of agencies small and large have set up shop in the dynamic, technology-driven and ever-evolving Korean market.
The demand for PR services has rapidly increased, as Korea attracted more multinationals, and efforts are being made by the government to open the country and become a major player in the global arena.
MS&L Korea was conceived in order to provide MS&L’s international clients a unique local approach to the Korean business environment, thanks to professionals who have been in the business for many years. Having worked as an affiliate of MS&L for 8 years, MS&L Korea is the newest member in the MS&L Asia family. The office was officially incorporated at the end of 2007, and has already been chosen as the PR agency for Seoul City media visits, and currently supports local PR activities for some of MS&L’s global clients like P&G, Coca-Cola and Sanofi-Aventis.
Our global clients are able to benefit from our local insight and comprehensive portfolio of services that range from media relations to corporate and marketing communication development. Equally, local Korean companies wanting to do business internationally are undoubtedly attracted by MS&L’s incredible network of PR offices and capabilities around the globe.
